Counseling
One-to-one guidance for students and young adults navigating academic pressure, career decisions and the anxiety that comes with both. A steady person to talk to, at the stage where it changes the outcome.

Sarvodaya Trust · Yellapur, Karnataka
Sarvodaya signifies a philosophy of universal progress — the moral, social and economic development of every individual in a society.
We believe in inspiring future leaders, pioneers, visionaries, humanitarians and standard-bearers of the society by helping them from budding stages, being their support system through their lows, identifying and never letting go of their fire in their belly — no matter where they come from and who they are.

About Sarvodaya
Most people pass through life without reaching a single one of their significant dreams. When people with potential fail to reach their goals, society loses more than they do.
We start early — at school and college, long before a person can prove what they might become.
The support does not stop when things go wrong. That is precisely when it matters most.
Where someone comes from and who they are never determines whether they deserve a chance.
We lose the chance to see —
Who are these people? They are nobody until they make those things happen. Until then they are a lab assistant without responsibility, a shop owner without accountability, a teacher who hesitates to voice her ideas — commoners who lacked the courage, or the means, to rise up on time.
We are not fortune tellers. We cannot predict what anyone will become. So we put our vision out in public and keep our support steady — financial help, educational guidance, and a system that stays with a young person from school through to midlife.
Every great contributor in history received help, in one form or another, at some stage. A graduate deciding on a career. A talented school student held back by poverty. A bright degree student carrying anxiety from pressure and an unwelcoming environment. Someone who made early educational mistakes to take on family responsibility, and now needs resources to do their best.
Work on the ground
Day-to-day delivery is run independently by our Program Managers in and around Yellapur, Karnataka.
One-to-one guidance for students and young adults navigating academic pressure, career decisions and the anxiety that comes with both. A steady person to talk to, at the stage where it changes the outcome.
Direct financial support for students whose talent outpaces their family's means — so that poverty is not the reason a capable student stops studying.
Bringing out initiative, responsibility and the confidence to speak up. We look for the fire in the belly and build the habits and the courage that let it carry someone forward.
Practical digital skills and access to the tools that a young person in a small town is otherwise expected to somehow find on their own.
Program details and field photographs are being compiled with our Program Managers.
Impact & stories
Sarvodaya is early in its journey. Rather than publish numbers we cannot yet stand behind, we are compiling our first impact record with the Program Managers who deliver the work on the ground.
A system exists only if it is needed. We are building ours around the people who need it.
Statistics, field statements and the experiences of the students we support will be published here as they are gathered and verified.
Volunteers, educators, community leaders and program staff — if you have photographs, numbers or experiences to share, we would like to hear from you.
Send us your storyTransparency & donor contributions
Sarvodaya runs on a lean, low-overhead model. Scholarship selection follows clear published rules, and disbursements are tracked and reported by our Finance & Admin Manager.
Selection criteria are defined in advance and applied consistently, so support goes where it was intended.
Every scholarship disbursement is recorded against the student and purpose it was committed to.
Contributions and the partners behind them will be acknowledged here, within the disclosure rules agreed with each contributor.
